The Lille president has heaped praised on his players after they fought back against FC Copenhagen to seal their place in the group stages of the Champions League
Les Dogues crawled through the group stages of the European group competition after defeating FC Copenhagen in the second leg, this Wednesday.

It was Lille’s first win at their new stadium and club president, Michel Seydoux, is pleased to see his side getting back to the winning ways.
While talking to reporters, the president stated that the victory has given him huge joy and he is pleased with the way his players performed in that game.
The 65-year-old said that to see LOSC win at Grand Stade Lille Métropole for the first time, has added to his pleasure.
"This is a wonderful moment, our first victory in this wonderful stadium," the Frenchman told reporters.
FC Copenhagen gave Lille a hard time and Seydoux is impressed with the way Les Dogues dealt with that. The visitors made life difficult for the Ligue 1 outfit and the chairman is pleased to witness a great game of football.
"This is one of the most beautiful emotions I have experienced as club president. We saw a beautiful game of football."
