Swansea City goalkeeper, Vorm, has expressed his desire to remain at the club and has singled out manager, Brendan Rodgers, for praise.
Swansea have had a memorable debut campaign in the Barclays Premier League, and need only a few points to assure themselves of a place in the league for next season.
The club currently sits in 12th place having accumulated a total of 43 points this season, and could potentially finish in the top half of the table depending on results between now and the end of the season. In fact, they could finish above Liverpool
who are just three points above them.
One of the reasons Swansea have enjoyed a successful campaign in the league has been the form of their Dutch goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-Vorm-c25482.
He has been outstanding for his club and made a number of crucial saves on a number of important occasions. Vorm will surely be one player that Swansea will want at the club for the foreseeable future and that does not seem as if it will be a problem.
The keeper admitted that anything could happen in the summer transfer window yet he seemed confident he would remain at the club.
“You never know but I don’t really think that I’m going to leave the club in the summer.”
With that sorted he went on to explain the fact that his family had settled in well and that he could not leave the club after just one season, especially given the way they have performed.
“For me it was a dream come true signing for Swansea to play in the Premier League. For me it was very easy to fit in. The style suits me.”
Vorm also singled out the club’s manager for praise, “Brendan Rodgers for me is easy to work with. He’s very clear the way he sees things.” Before reflecting on a memorable campaign, “We’ve played some great matches, especially at home. The whole season
through has been fantastic.”
Swansea still have plenty to play for this season and a finish in the top eight is not out of their reach, especially seeing how their final match of the current league season is against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
