the thing i like about obama (that might also be his downfall) is that he always goes straight to the truth. he's not afraid to put the tough problems on the table and deal with them. "sugar-coated falsehoods" is exactly what americans want to believe because they are in denial and don't want to face the tough truth.

Great and truth are in the eyes of the beholder so I am sure you believe what you wrote but Mrs. Obama was 100% wrong in her opinion on states that both fear the people and want to dictate what the culture of the people is. I prefer the Constitution to the tyranny she prescribes and it bothers me that some Americans can't take the truth and want her sugar-coated falsehoods instead of the truth. Mrs Obama sees her truth from her own narrow little perspective.

Did you watch CNN everyday??? I don't know what's the name of Obama's wife.. She said one day in CNN that she is not proud of being american. What do you think about that????  

That's the reason why many americans here don't really like Obama..

I am a filipino and i traveled a lot (i just moved here in United States) and  i am very proud of being a filipino it's not the fact that i am from Philippines but by blood of what we are!  But i am not saying i am not proud of being an american but i am too. What i meant is I won't forget that i am still a filipino.

There are lots of discriminations here, honestly.

Everything starts and ends with the truth. The best habit is to always tell the truth that way we don't need to try to remember what we said to who. With  The Obama's it is hard to accept and grasp his concept because he is trying to get Americans to understand that truth is a must. People usually know when something stated is false or perhaps a stretched-truth. What one chooses to believe can not be controlled by anyone else. Although we are finding it hard to believe, a white woman or a black man is going to be the next president of the US.

I say, It's about time!
