Michigan State University, what do you think?

3.2 GPA and a 26 on the ACT. Varsity wrestling captain.

Sadly I never worked a real job in my life yet, despite applying to 19+ places. (Michigan economy... -.-) Community service is er.. kinda low. I volunteered for the Salvation Army on an annual basis but the program I worked for ended in 2004, a year before I started high school.

I realize the GPA sucks, but is a 26 enough to compensate for it? Will wrestling help me get in?

I'm from Michigan, I think you will get into Michigan State University.

I would say you have a pretty good shot of getting in.  I have friends who got in with about the same GPA and a lower ACT score.  Maintain that 3.2, and you should be good.  Wrestling captain will look great on the app.

I'm also from Michigan, I am a junior at CMU.  I think you can definitely get into MSU

Better Mich State than UofM.

Look at the admission requirements on the school website.  That should help you.
