Michigan Wedding planning?

Anyone from Michigan - Genesee County area, know of a reception hall that does not require catering through them and can hold 250 guests?

I am having a hard time finding places, especially ones that you don't have to cater through them.

Any other great places to go to plan a wedding with good prices would be helpful as well! Thank you!!!

  1. Hi and congratulations! I've been up to Flint on many occasions and love it up there (I'm from a small town south of Toledo.) Are there any parks or anything up there that have lodges? That's what I'm doing for mine. The Hancock Park District has a really nice lodge and it's only 425 to rent and it'll hold 240. (I know it's out of your way to come to Hancock County OH, I'm just giving you this as an example...) County parks like that are gonna be ALOT cheaper than some privately owned banquet hall. Also, you could check out Amvets or any sort of club like that. Alot of them allow you to use outside caterers.
