  1. I live in Michigan I never heard of Michigan "sause" but I have some Michiganer "sauce" if you would like some hit me up.


  2. MICHIGAN SAUCE  

    1 gallon catsup

    1 bunch celery

    6 peppers

    2 onions (lg.)

    4-5 lbs. ground beef

    2 tbsp. prepared mustard

    3/4 c. brown sugar

    2 tbsp. vinegar

    1 tsp. paprika

    Salt & pepper to taste

    Grind celery, peppers and onions in meat grinder or food processor. In large kettle, brown ground beef, add catsup, celery, pepper and onion, salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour. Serve with hot dogs and hamburgers.

    MICHIGAN SAUCE  

    3 tbsp. salad oil

    1 lb. hamburger (ground chuck, round)

    1 lg. onion, cut fine

    1 clove garlic

    Salt & pepper to taste

    1/2 tsp. red pepper, crushed (dry) (or to taste)

    2 tsp. chili powder

    3 sm. cans tomato paste

    1 1/2 cans water

    3 tbsp. sugar

    Place all ingredients in double boiler and cook for 2 hours. Great on hot dogs, hamburgers or by itself on a bun.
