Michigan unemployment checks

I know there already have been a few questions on this, but I'm hoping to get a more updated answer. I filed for unemployment a few weeks ago, received all my eligibility paperwork. Called in my first time on Wednesday. I also signed up for direct deposit(chase bank). A few people told me it only took 2 days, and this was when a check was mailed! other people have told me 6 weeks. Is there anybody out there that has recently filed for unemployment that can tell me how long it took for them.

It should mail the same week that you call Marvin.......whatever you do continue to call Marvin on your designated day........my day was Thursday, and usually I got it on Wednesday or Thursday of the week following that I called. It stinks to be laid off, especially in Michigan right now. Good Luck to you.

I went to the local mall, got a job and already got my first paycheck.  Have fun waiting for yours!
