Swansea City’s midfielder, Michu is looking to try and make the finals of the Capital One Cup with his team, as he feels they have the capabilities required to go on and win he contest.
Michu, who has already scored a very impressive twelve league goals for the Swans this season, feels that his team have already shown enough to make them one of the favourites to go on and win the competition.
The Premier League side are set to face off against Middlesbrough in the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup, and are hoping to end the night on a high.
The team is going into the match having suffered a very disappointing loss to Norwich in the league this past weekend, which is something that might just spur the players on to give it their all in the upcoming game.
When talking about the upcoming game, the prolific goal scoring midfielder is reported to have said: "Why not think about getting to the final [in the cup]? Let's hope so - it would be special to get to Wembley”
He then went on to talk about the two goals he scored against Norwich, since he feels they didn’t amount to much in the end. At the same time, he went on to compare them to the game winning goals he scored against Arsenal.
"The bad thing is that it [double against Norwich] didn't help us win any points. That's a shame. It counts for the individual statistics, but if it doesn't help us get a point then it's not something to be happy about.”

Given the way he has been playing, Michu has been linked with a move away from Swansea. The player is delighted to be linked with some of the biggest teams in Europe, but has admitted that he is more than likely to end up sticking around with the Swans in the near future, as he hopes to help the team achieve the best that they can.
