Mick Foley happy at his inclusion in Royal Rumble’s 30-man over-the-top challenge – Wrestling news
Mick Foley startled the world by his energetic announcement before Royal Rumble in one of Raw’s Supershow saying he wants to get back in the ring, the ring that has been his life since the start, and wants to take part in the Royal Rumble’s main show, the
30-man over-the-top rumble royale.
Mick is infamous for revamping, renovating, and modifying the epic concept of hardcore matches. He is renowned as the true hardcore legend, a man who has sprinkled his blood the most in the whole of WWE, on the white squared ring. The man who is notorious
to put forth the WWE universe a whole bunch of chilling extreme brawls against men such as Undertaker, Edge, Randy Orton and others.
WWE’s flagship show’s interim general manager John ‘the Excitement’ Laurinaitis approved Mick’s request and allowed him to be one of the 30-men entering the ring during the 25th anniversary of Royal Rumble.
Mick Foley then experienced once again the charm, the excitement, the energy, the vigorous thumping of his heart and enjoyed his brief stay of 4 to 6 minutes in the ring filled with young charismatic men such as Santino Marella, Cody Rhodes, Primo, and others.
After the Royal Rumble experience, Foley while giving an interview to reputable media personnel shared his feelings and said that it was a lifetime experience and he seriously felt unprepared and out-of-form when he was amidst a whole bunch of young predatory
lads. Mick said that though he felt a whole new level of energy in his worn out muscles, yet that was a big mistake by him to enter the ring oozing out with talent and resilient brawlers.
Mick excitedly said that he enjoyed those five minutes especially the bout of his Mr. Socko with Santino Marella’s snake. He enjoyed recalling it and said that it was sheer fun for not only the fans but for him as well. He further added that it definitely
would have lightened the mood of the fanatics in the arena who were witnessing raw power and rage in the ring.
On the assumption that if he is placed in a bout with either Dolph Ziggler or Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 28, the hardcore pioneer said that he is ready to accept it and he will definitely forward his sincere gratitude towards those who have or will come
up with such an idea.
He shared, “I'm not (wrestling a big match) but I'd like to be in shape for it and hope that it would be something that could really add to a long-term angle or help one of those moments that gets people to the next level, I don't think it's the great matches
so much as the personal issue that reaches a conclusion in a match that helps somebody get to that level and I think I could a nice step for somebody.”
The veteran Foley said that he wants to make a comeback and has a deep urge to again be a part of WWE by brawling wrestlers in the ring. On his pompous return, the whole WWE universe expected that Mick will revive the real hardcore soul in WWE. So far, Mick
has been in superb form but in order to take on the agile youth of WWE he must have to come in shape.
