Mick Foley in TNA...?

I've been away for a bit and just found that Mick Foley is with TNA. Anyone know why the move? I wasn't aware of any conflict between him and McMahon but then again I'm not always up on what's going on behind the scenes. Thanks!

Mick Foley's contract expires on September 1st. The reason why he is leaving is because of what you said, him and Mcmahon. He thought that he was in the business long enough that he could call the matches on commentary as a shoot( without scripts or Mcmahon feeding lines). Mcmahon wouldn't allow it, and he is probably going to TNA, and is preparing to go back into the ring. This will probably boost TNA's fanbase/ratings. He could appear on any Impact! after september 1st, and expects to wrestle on a very busy schedule.

Foley wasn't happy with his commentary position as Vince tends to be hard on the commentators when giving them directions on what to say in the headsets, his contract is set to expire soon so he's expected to leave WWE and apparently he's been talking to TNA and they've agreed on bringing him in.

His contract was expiring in September and he didn't get it renewed because the WWE officials didn't like his commentating.

But Foley still wanted to be involved with a wrestling corporation so he went to TNA.

Foley was not happy the way McMahon would scream in his headset when he was doing commentary [when they do commentary, vince talks in the headset and tells them like speak with more emotion or something] and he hated the fact he had to do commentary and not wrestle, and also he didn't like when they made edge jump from a ladder on top of him. so hes done with wwe. And headed to Tna.
