Mickey Arthur likely to be considered as Pakistan’s national coach – Cricket News Update

Reportedly, Arthur has become a strong candidate to be considered for Pakistan’s coaching position, considering his outstanding stint with the South African cricket team.

The committee finalised five names to be considered for the post, which is vacant after Younis stepped down, as they received many applications from former Pakistani and foreign candidates.

In the meanwhile, he appreciated Pakistan’s performance in the recently concluded Test series, terming them as a talented side.
“They've got a big pool of talent and they’ve just done very well against Sri Lanka. They’re going gangbusters. They’ve just got to go out there and build some goodwill. Their brand has been tarnished somewhat. They’ve got to get a winning culture - I don’t think it’s tough if you’re winning,” he added.
