Mickey Arthur supports Brad Haddin - Cricket News Update

Haddin, the 34-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-South-Wales-c823 cricketer, failed to impress with the bat and looked out of sorts with gloves as well, during the first two Tests of the series and has been under-fire since then by former cricketers and pundits questioning his position
in the side.
Arthur however, stepped forward to support the beleaguered cricketer and said that he still has confidence in the wicketkeeper batsman and hopes to see a true http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BJ-Haddin-c1170 at Perth later this week.
"I still believe in Brad. I love his character. I love the way he is around the group,” the Australian head coach was quoted as saying by a local newspaper. “He is our vice-captain and he lives that role really well. I am confident we are going to get the
best out of Brad in the Perth Test match," Arthur added further.
Haddin, who was appointed as Sydney Sixers captain for the ongoing KFC Big Bash League, has so far scored only 33 runs from two innings and was often beaten by the swinging deliveries behind the stumps, after they had passed the batsman.
Arthur revealed that after the Sydney Test he had a chat with the wicketkeeper batsman, who himself was disappointed with his performance. The South African said that Haddin is really working hard and hoped he will bounce back at WACA.
"I think he will be fine. I had a nice chat with him after the Test. He's fine. He wants to come to Perth and do well. You don't see all the little things Brad does off the field. He gets stuck in. He works hard. He has an unbelievably good cricket brain,"
said Arthur.
Having comprehensively won the first two Tests of the series, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 holds a 2-0 lead and is eyeing a 4-0 Indian drubbing by winning Perth and Adelaide games as well.
