Micro SD card won't show up as storage device in my Razr v3m?

I have a sandisk Micro SD card and I've got it in the slot the only way it will fit...but when I power my phone back on and go to 'switch storage device' it still only shows my phone. Help?

  1. If you received a memory card reader / adapter with the memory card then connect the phone to your PC and format the card after that put it back into the phone and it should get detected,.


  2. the micro SD card might actually be a micro SDHC card.  Your phone might not be able to handle that type.  if it is higher than 2 GB, then it is a SDHC card.
