Microchips compatible in Europe (Spain)?

Question

I am having now a rough time trying to figure out if the microchip that are going to implant in my dog it will be compatible with the scanners in Spain. I have been told different things, last time i talked with someone was with a technician, well he told me the microchip it will be compatible with the scanners Annex A to ISO-11785.I guess this is ok. Anyone can help me?? i am running out of time!! and nobody seems to give me the right answer.

from what I´ve been told, the chip inserted into my parent´s dog before travelling is supposedly scannable anywhere in the world. At least anywhere they have scanners.. smile..

Just keep the paperwork with you that he´s got a chip inserted and it should not be a problem!
