1.If approximately 600 of a certain bacteria can fit across your Low Power field of vision which is 2.5 times, what is the approximate size of one bacterium????

  1. The ratio of field number to magnification is the Field size. Field number varies by microscope, typical value is 25mm. So,Field Size( = 25mm/2.5x = 10mm) would be 10mm. As mentioned in the description that 600 of a certain bacteria can fit across your Low Power field of vision, then 1 bacteria = 10mm/600 = 16.7µ
