Microsoft Excel Formula or Function (need help asap)?

So i am currently working on a project for work that requires me to find the difference between numbers.

a small layout of how its setup

C1 C2 C3 (difference)

A1 glendora 107 206

A2 goleta 200 450

A3 grossmont 205 65

Now, i know the basic foruma for it would be =c1-c2 and that would give the difference between 107 and 206 which is -99

Now right now this chart is 110 rows and 19 colums

i dont wanna go through and manually put =c1-c2 , =d1-d2

So what i am trying to figure out, is there a way that excel can automatically fill in the formula? a function maybe?

something i put in and it will make everything else go

=c1-c2

=d1-d2

=e1-e2

=f1-f2

etc.. etc.. etc..

or do i have to manually type it all out :O

  1. You can do this two ways, you can either copy the formula (click on cell and hit Ctrl and C) then paste it wherever you want it (highlight all the cells you want it in and hit Ctrl and V) or you can select the cell with the formula in it and double click on the little tiny square that's in the bottom right corner very quickly, and that will auto fill the formula down.  Either way, the formula will be altered to show the correct column.  From A1 to A2...

  2. No you don't.

Enter the formula in 3 cells.

    Highlight the 3 cells

Bring your cursor to the bottom right of the last cell and it should turn into a + sign

    Click it and drag
