Question:

Microsoft Vista Problems?

I've had vista (came loaded on my laptop) for a while...and I prefer Mozilla instead of Internet Explorer but occasionally I have to use Explorer..When I go to use it and browse through a couple sites Explorer always seems to mess up and becomes unresponsive...then a screen comes up saying 1. Wait for explorer to respond, 2. close the program and 3. check for a solution...i've tried all three options but none of them work.....sometimes the start menu and taskbar does this too. Does anyone have any idea what this is and how i can fix it?

  1. I have the same problem.

And to tell you the truth. You didn't do anything. It is just Vista messing up.

There is currently no way of fixing it. You will have to wait until Microsoft releases a patch for it.

    I hope this helped!

  2. That does it on mine sometimes too.  Try clicking on File on the Menu bar then if Work Offline has a check mark beside it click it again then refresh the page. If it don't work, click on Mozilla or try again after a while. Hope it works!

  3. Then don't use IE, duh.

  4. I have a new laptop with Vista too. I'm having the same problem and I usually wind up doing a system restore about once a week. I've heard that loading Windows XP is the way to go. HP wasn't very helpful when I called them, so I'm just going to bypass it.
