I was wondering if it is possible to change a 'chunk' of writing either in word or excel from lower case to upper case. for example;

the cat sat on the mat

=

THE CAT SAT ON THE MAT

could there possibly be something under tools that i am unaware of?

please help, it is rather urgent.

Thanks in advance,

Hugo

  1. Highlight the text you want to change, click the format tab at the top of the page, select "change case" and then select Upper Case or any of the other options.

  2. Highlight the text you want to change the case of and then click format (or format tab in office 2007) at the top of the page, select "change case" and then Upper Case. :-)

    or type it again.... :-)

  3. highlight the text you need to change

    go to Format then change case on the tool bar

    select the option that suits best

    Hope that helps
