I have been using w/o problems the Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1 for 1.5 yrs. Today, I used it in the morning and when I came home the mouse is working, but the keyboard keys are not working properly. No letter keys work; the number keys are reversed (1 is 9, 2 is 8, 3 is 7 etc. weather on the 10 key or keyboard row. The "0" key on the 10 key is z; and the "0" key on the number row performs a return.) The space bar is the Num lock key; the back space key is *, the left arrow key is [ ; the right arrow key is ]; the up arrow key is -; the down arrow key is =; the tab key is /; the enter key on the 10 key is 0; the enter key on the main keyboard is +; there are a few other keys that perform other functions that they are not supposed to be doing. The only key that does what is supposed to do is the Start Key. It does bring up the start menu. I have rebooted several times. I have down loaded new drivers, I have changed USB ports, nothing fixes the problem. What is peculiar is the mouse still works. Fortunately the keyboard on my lap top works, but I did not purchase a wireless keyboard to use the computers keyboard. Can you offer any assistance?
