Microsoft Word Doesn't let me print!?

Question

I think i know the answer to this problem, but i'll share none the less.

I don't have the vista version of word, but i have vista as my os anyways.

Whenever i try to print, it just prompts my to save with a .xps format

if i try to cancel, it doesnt print

if i save it, it still doesnt print

plz someone help me

Are your printer drivers installed correctly? Does it show up on the menu in Word?

You can press Ctrl+P.

it's the keyboard shortcut for the Print Dialog box.

is the Printer driver installed in the first place?

Also which version of Microsoft office are you using.

if Office 2007 then click on the Microsoft logo in the top left of Word then select Save As->Word 97-2003 format
