Microsoft Word not responding...?

Question

Only just yesterday I tried to open a file using Word and it wouldn't open because the program wouldn't respond. Since then the program won't open no matter what I do. It just says the program won't respond and that it is going to shut down. I can't even go to documents and open one of my saved files. Any idea what it is and how to fix it?

Part of Word broke.  Reinstall it.
