Microsoft Xbox issue. RROD. No Box from Microsoft.?

Alright my question is, after you call Microsoft to repair your Xbox 360 because of the Red Ring of Death, do they send you a box to ship it back to them in, or do you have to provide your own. The person I talked to on the phone was hard to understand so I didn't catch what to do about shipping it. I have the shipping label in my email, but I have no box. I made the call to microsoft 8 days ago (if that means anything). It would mean a lot to me if someone could answer my question A.S.A.P. Thank you so much!

  1. John,

I've just had my 2nd RROD today (Aug 14th).  Microsoft used to send a box and lables (they did so for my 1st RROD), but as of now they ask you to use your own box, and they send you the labels via email because it's "faster" as the associate told me.

    What a load of c**p!

    Hope this helps,

    Bryan

  2. When I did it they sent a box to me(about three days) that had the shipping sticker inside along with some special foam pieces for packaging the 360. It could have changed but I know they are supposed to send a form to you also that you have to fill out and send with your 360. If you have that in your email also. Then I would just box it myself and send it to them.
