hi heres my problem i sent microsoft my xbox 360 for repair and i got an email today saying that the repair was cancelled and that they will be shipping the xbox 360 back to me. they said they are charging me Cash On Delivery from UPS shipping charges to send it back to me. they never told me i will have to pay shipping charges and fees. they didnt even fix my xbox 360. How can a company charge me for a product that is under my name and is already paid for . they said if I dont pay when the delivery man comes they will keep it for 90 days and i believe it wont be returned back to me isn't that illegal for a company to do that. I was thinking of when the delivery man comes to my house to give me the package he will ask me for the money. what if i just grab the package and go inside my house and shut the door and dont pay him anything can i get in trouble for that the product is already paid for and is mine

  1. You should have asked first if your Xbox is still under warranty before you sent it out to microsoft....chances are it isnt now.. for repair now, there are chances that there are some parts that need to be replaced that why they will charge you. but those things should be discussed first prior to sending out the item..as for the delivery thing, that is totally unfair for your part that you will be charged for it..call xbox support.. asked for a supervisor and discuss it with them..if you can talk to mr. gates, then go...

  2. they did it to you to ? d**n those b******s anyways i would file a complaint and get their heads straight and refuse to pay money and yeah i did the same thing i  just snagged the package and went inside and said if he didnt get off my property that i would call the pigs .and just to make sure i crashed at my friends place for a week or two

  3. check the fine print.

    call em up

if you still have a warranty tell them if they cant fix it you either want a refurbished or new system.

if they still refuse and you have a warranty that says they'll fix it and the thing thats wrong is covered, tell your parents(unless your 18), have them contact microsoft, and if it still wont work call up a lawyer and tell em whats goin on. tell them that the company is voiding a warranty.

make sure what went wrong with the system is covered by the warranty though. otherwise you'll just look like an @$$

  4. sounds like a scam to me...

    Just grab it and run!!

  5. Yes, you will get into trouble.

You don't owe Microsoft the shipping fees, you owe UPS.
