Microsoft outlook...??

i have noticed that when i receive new email i dont get a little envelope in my tool bar. it did up until about 2 weeks ago or so. any ideas how to get it back or why it doesnt do it anymore?

go to Tools > Options

Under Preferences tab select Email Options

Click Advanced Email Options button

check the box "Show an envelope icon in the notification area"

unistall and re install microsoft outlook using MS office installation program.

if you do not want to do this, then check the preferences or options to set the appearance and general options to set the option.

you may also see that option in Receiving emails option..

Follow this steps:

Go to Outlook Tools -> Options -> Preferences -> E-Mail Options -> Advanced E-Mail Options

Here you have a section called "When new items arrive in my box"

You have to check the box next to "Show an envelope icon in the notification area"
