  1. Hi, Try this.

    If you want to add a shape, select the shape you want to add the new shape under or next to, click the arrow next to Insert Shape on the Organization Chart toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.), and then click one or more of the following:

    Coworker— to place the shape next to the selected shape and connect to the same superior (superior shape: In an organization chart, a shape that is placed above and connected to any other shape, such as an employee (subordinate or coworker shape) or assistant shape.) shape.

    Subordinate— to place the new shape below and connect it to the selected shape.

    Assistant— to place the new shape below the selected shape with an elbow connector
