Yes it's strange, but after several tests and experiments it must be true. We have Lynxus for our wireless internet. The main router is in a room down the hallway and across a small living room. Just off the line of path in first quarter of the length is our microwave. Whenever the microwave goes on my internet goes out. What could cause this? Also, how can I fix this? Thank you!

  1. 2.4Ghz interference. Switch channels on the wireless.

  2. it could be the way your electricity is set up. in my house if i have the washer running when i turn on the microwave, my washer shuts off. It deals with how the circuit work is done. When both are on the power of the voltage is too great, so one must shut off to prevent a blow out.

  3. choi is correct either change the channel on the router which the comp will pick up no problem or move the router farther to one side and still change the channel to 3 or 6
