Microwave broken glass turntable/plate

GE replacement part WB49X10135 - very pricey. Sunbeam model #SMW925 don't know about the replacment cost. Question, what other options do i have? i scared to used my micro w/o the glass. Any help w/be appreciated

PS is they any generic glass plates or does it have to be the exact model match?
