  1. Please don't...It makes them tougher. For a crispy fat-free and FAST way to make them...

Put your oven rack on the top level and turn the broiler on high. Toss in a few Papads and as soon as they bubble up evenly...(there should be tiny little bubbles all over and they will start to brown quickly) Remove them to cool. Also some of the thicker Papads need to be turned over briefly...Trial and error.

Its pretty easy to burn your fingers doing this so if your going to make a lot use a cookie sheet to get them out quickly.

This is so fast I don't know why anyone would want to save a minute and get something not as good...

  2. Yes, I make papad in the microwave quite often.  It's easy.  Put  one papad on a paper towel (or a plate), and put it in the microwave.  Cook on high for about a minute -- depends on the power of your microwave.  You can watch it, and once it's completely crinkled and cooked, then stop the microwave.

I like it better than fried papad because it's healthier (no oil/fat).  Sometimes to jazz it up a bit, I'll eat it with sambal oelek (chili sauce).  My kids like it with soy sauce!

  3. ya i do it evryday

its yummy but not tat much wen fried n a little dry

  4. Yes, my friend used to do that because her dad had a cholesterol problem. It tastes kinda dry but not bad especially if you eat them like you are supposed to i.e. crushed up in rice.

  5. yahhh it works well just  it cooks like in 20 seconds
