Half-tons from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 One-Day Competition, at the Kwekwe Sports Club on October 13.
The Rhinos won the toss and elected to field first, and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Malcolm-Waller-c74039 (7-0-15-3) proceeded to launch an assault which saw the Eagles restricted to 182 all out by the 48th over.
The Eagles opened their innings with wicketkeeper batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CJ-Chibhabha-c1263 (36) both of whom got the team off to a steady start with a 40-run partnership. Richard Muzhange got the Rhinos their first breakthrough by dismissing Chakabva
in the 9th over, but Chibhabha went on set up a 31-run stand with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sikandar-Raza-Butt-c90274 (22).
Cremer intervened to break it up in the 16th over, sending Chibhabha back to the pavilion, and followed it up by running out skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/S-Matsikenyeri-c2395 (2) in the 19th over, before dismissing Sikandar Raza in the 20th.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/E-Chigumbura-c1411 (20) attempted to revive the innings with a 37-run stand for the 5th wicket, which got the team total up to 117 by the 29th over, after which Malcolm Waller stepped in to dismiss both batsmen.
From there onwards, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Tinotenda-Mutombodzi-c2684 (18) and Ray Price (30) were the only batsmen who managed to chip in with substantial scores – the remainder of the batting order was lacklustre, with Nathan Waller scoring just 1 before he was trapped lbw by Cremer,
while http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kyle-Malcolm-Jarvis-c71974 managed just 2. By the 48th over, the Eagles were all out at 182.
The Rhinos, meanwhile, breezed through the chase courtesy a century stand between Sibanda and Mickleburgh, despite the efforts of Mutombodzi (10-0-27-3).
Wicketkeeper skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BRM-Taylor-c1200 was ineffective, scoring just 10 before he was run out by Jarvis in the 5th over. However, Sibanda (55) and Mickleburgh (73) joined forces for a 109-run partnership, which got the Rhinos up to 129 by the 28th
over, after which Sibanda was sent back to the pavilion by Nathan http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Waller-c95917.
Malcolm Waller (4) and Steven Trenchard (7) were both ineffective, but Cremer managed to contribute an unbeaten 18. Mickleburgh was eventually run out by substitute fielder C Zhuwao, and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mluleki-Luke-Nkala-c76443 (4) fell prey to Mutombodzi. However, Cremer, aided by
Simon Mugava (3*) teamed up to get their side over the finish line, enabling the Rhinos to reach 187, with 4 wickets and 25 deliveries still remaining.
