Mid left abdominal pain?!?

I have been haveing REALY~REALY bad pain under my rib cage on my left hand side... it started out as cramping but its been about a week & Im still in pain?! Any advice on what it might be? I dont think its my apendix because thats located on my right side right?! Please Help!!

Are you throwing up?  Do you have diarrhea?  You need to see your doctor because this could be anything from gas to an intestinal blockage.

I'm sorry you are in pain! there are alot of possibilities as to what it could be from but the best person to pose your question to is your dr. Pain in the abdomen lasting a week needs an expert opinion. good luck!

the other peson is correct see yor doctor! I been having pain my self in varies areas of the abdomen and they gave me a ct scan so you may have to get one  as well and or an ultrasound of the abdomen. Have u been constipated or anything or eating unhealthily?
