  1. They were good, a lot of peer pressure, and groups or "cliqs" if you want to call it. People usually follow a lot of people, and dress in a certain crowd. But these 3 years go by very fast . =] MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT DO ANY DRUGS.

  2. This is the year that everyone starts changing and dating.

So..everyone will be in everyone else's business asking who's going out with who. of course there will be "popular people" that most people worship...but I was just kinda in the middle of everything i got asked out a lot but it was hard to keep a relationship especially when everyone is judging you..I asked out a kid and by the end of the day everyone knew. Don't be unconfident of yourself. I'm sure you'll do fine! It's hard to get used to but once you know how the flow goes, you'll be fine.

  3. well that is cool

i am going to high school

    middle school isnt that bad

    it is actually preety easy

    yeppers

    i was nervus

but then when i got there i saw my freinds

    so it was easy

  4. middle school is extremely easy. enjoy it while it lasts...

  5. Hmm, I had some amazing ones. Best two years of my life.

Some highlights? Firstly, a whole new beginning, because I had just moved here.

I had a science teacher who let me sit on desks during class, and she was just like a teen stuck in an adults body. I met some girl in p.e. who was sitting alone, and she is now my best friend. I stepped in horse p**p in front of my entire p.e. class, went on the bulletin and read the wrong script, got 15 minute miles, cheated on miles all the time, dying my hair pink and getting asked by the VP if it was permanent, and her about having a heart attack when she found out it was. Sneaking out of class to see a guy I liked and hiding under the teacher's desk who almost caught me, and staying there for an hour until the guy called the teacher over so I could run out the door. Jumping over a fence to get to class a faster way and ripping my jeans. Meeting some blond girl who moved here from Switzerland and making the cheesiest fifth-grade looking secret handshake, getting detention for pouring a water bottle on a guy, almost getting a detention from stealing another guy's demerit, this guy pouring a jamba juice on the secretary and getting expelled, this one girl kicking a guy in the head causing him to go to the hospital [ironically, he was 6'1, and she's about 5'3...hahah he was on the ground for some reason] this kid getting arrested in my class for having weed in his backpack [my friend and I sat right next to him], making a pact to fail all my eighth grade classes, getting a detention for stealing ceramics stuff and having to write a report on what I did, picking up trash and falling in a rose bush and asking the lady in charge if the school could pay for new pants, burning pretzels in home ec, accidently mixing up the sugar and salt and having the principal talk to our group, destroying a guy's project and him accidently telling on me, getting me yet ANOTHER detention, and almost going to juvi.

trust me, you'll have an amazing time. there's nothing quite like it, because honestly, this is the last time in your life you can mess up. Colleges won't look at middle school and what you did, but if you mess up a couple time in high school, you're screwed. My high school life has been a tad boring because I am really foucused now. So live it up and just have fun. <3

  6. Everybody says that going into middle school is such a big deal, such a big change. And oh my gawd you're gonna die. and blah blah blah. well that's BULL. it's seriously no big deal. you may have some bad things happen but honestly you get over them. just stick with your friends. be yourself. don't get into any trouble. don't mess with the wrong crowd. you'll float right on through

  7. even though i probably would of denied it, i was envious of the "popular" girls and tried to be cool in 6-7 grade, and changed my friends a lot. that wasnt fun. in 8th grade, i realized some of the coolest people were not popular, so i finally settled down in a nice group of friends. i still struggle with this fact that i am not the most popular or coolest person around, but high school will be over before i know it and we will all be old people sooner than we think!

  8. middle school sucked. i had a terrible time. major nightmare. um, i didn't have any friends. be nice to everyone you see, even if they put you down. don't get into anything serious if people are mean to you. they are just trying to be funny and "cooler". stay yourself and be true to yourself.

  9. I was made fun of because I had hairy arms.   Another person was made fun of because she had body odor.  Another girl had a mole near her lip, so she was made fun of.

I'm now 33. . . . I let it hurt my feelings for years. . . if I would have shown more confidence then the others would not have continued to pick on me.

Be strong. . .people know when you are vulnerable and take advantage of it.

However, I do miss middle school.   Probably because life gets harder.   I'm sure you've heard that before, but as life gets harder, it gets fuller and deeper and more meaningful.

I don't know if you are too young to realize this , but maybe you'll remember when needed.

Life is not about the bad things and the good things that happen to you.  It's not about who says what about who, or who is the smartes, who has braces, or who kissed who.   It's about having a great base or building ground to build off of.  Remember, who you are now, you are able to mold each year after to year that will tell who you will become.   Will you become kind, loving, obsessive, despressed?   Each action, no matter how small, impacts your life. . . even into your 30s and so forth.

So try to be the best you that you can be and noone can ask for more.  Your soul is the most important thing you have.   Remember that each experience lays tracks for the road ahead.

And remember to slow down every once and awhile and enjoy the smell of the rain, enjoy the pink sky, enjoy time with your family.   These are the memories you will take with you forever.   And once you get older, you'll take the good ones with you, so make them your best.

  10. lol

the second day of school i came back from 5th hour thinking it was the end of the day.

i packed up and started walking out till i noticed nobody was walkiong out and the buses werent there

i freaked knowing id be late. the mean hall monitor told me to get to class. i panicked and ran to class.

i still had my backpack with me !!!

    it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo embarassing

  11. If your school has dances go out and dance!!!! get together a group of friends and go dance in the middle. If you dont dance you end up being a wallflower. Then your dances dont seem so fun. dance crazy ppl will be amazed by your confidence! veryone started joining around me and my friends as we danced. IT WAS SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!

  12. Middle School...

8th grade is the best year ever

There will be a heck of a lot of drama

    People will change...A LOT

    Life will go on

  13. This will help you...

    1. Be friendly and don't be afraid to open up. Make friends with EVERYONE on the first day.

    2. Don't get on your teachers bad side or the rest of the year will suck.

    3. Make sure if you have a gym locker it works correctly so on the first day of school when your lunch is in there you don't have to miss it and get a janitor to ply it off. (lmao it happened to me)

    4. Stay away from "clicky" groups. They are just going to start drama so avoid that, but still be nice to them.

    5. Don't tell anyone who you like!! Not even your best friends....haha it turned out badly for me.

    6. Stay organized! Get a locker shelf (if you have a locker) and lots of note books.

    7. Don't forget your gym clothes, or lunch money.

    8. Join sports and clubs you like.

    9. Try to not miss the bus and eat breakfast. ( i always did and walked to school....)

    10. Just be happy and have fun. :]

  14. someone in my class i liked found out i liked them and they made fun of me i just ignored them and blocked them out and agreed with everything and soon they got bored cause i didn't care and they stopped

  15. RUMOURS! Stupidness...people try to influence u and if u go against them then they hate u! If you're better looking than people, they're jealous of u. If you're worse looking than they'll make fun of you. Middle school SUCKED!

    Sorry! Good luck!

  16. Okay middle school isn't that bad. You little tweenys make everything so over dramatic. You think that your whole life will end if you don't get asked to the dance, which are lame. But enjoy it while it last. You pretty much do nothing and still get by. Don't always do your homework and slack of a little. Enjoy it before high school because man you'll miss it. If someone had told me I didn't have to do that much in middle, just pretty much show up and do some work, but not all of it I would've had a much better time. Sometimes I wish I could back and do it all over again. Have fun!

  17. If you fall in Public(like in the middle of the cafeteria) and the guy u like sees u fall just laugh at urself! It will make people forget the fall so much sooner!

it will make the situation so much easier!

and laughing at urself and with others may sound silly but it works. it shows people that u are very open and fun!

[my friend courtney is such a klutz but when ever she falls she laughs at herself and gets back up]

  18. hey..one of the most important thing u should remember abt middle schl is dont get into peer prusure cause alot of people change . just be true to ur self

  19. I don't know if you're going to find people that remember middle school as much as high school.. unless they're just out of middle school..  My middle school experiences were fine.  I went to a small private school.. only 37 kids in my class.. so everyone knew each other and if you didn't like some one.. you had to learn a to like him or her.

Don't worry about it.. you'll be fine.

  20. I first thing youll notice is alot more people and a larger friend base. Middle school grades really dont mean anything in the long run so dont get disscouraged over a c or a d.

try playing a sport if you dont so already because thats a great way to meet new friends and carry something into high school.

  21. middle school was the best 7th grade i learned

    than 8th grade

    whoa

it was so fun the kids made the teachers life a living h**l but it was the best year of my life

than i went to HS were games are far far away

o yea ppl WEED is avaliable BE CAREFUL

  22. Just a heads up, middle school grades don't mean anything.  You only want to get around an 85-90 in 8th grade so when you go into high school you get into honors classes.  I worked hard to maintain an average of like 97 and then when I got into high school they said "Here's a chance for you to start over new.  None of your grades before this matter because colleges wont look at them.  Now is when you have to try your hardest."  That really pissed me off.

  23. never be late to class. flirt with all the boys. never pick on anyone just because their different or weird. When I was in middle school, one student commited sucidie. the note he left stated why he did what he did and that because of all of his peers picking on him drove him to do this. the worst part is his own sister picked on him at school, and she was the one to find him the day before christmas break, lying on the floor. dont pick on anyone, it hurts more than you think.

  24. hmmm... i got laid... beat 3 kids up.... said "good well f*ck u" to my assisstant principle, had 5 bomb threats in one month.... basically i hated my school... and i swear to god that all of this really happened

  25. I doubt this will help...

My first year in middle school, I was absolutely tortured by these two girls (who were suppose to my friends).

My mom took me out of school that year (6th grade). I was home schooled until I decided to go back in 7th grade. I'm glad I went back though. I ended up making some extremely wonderful friends-that i still have. I did great in my classes and exceeded expectations. I made it to the state finals in NHD. It was by far my best school year.

My advice is to not take anything that people say or think too seriously. Remember, you're there to get good grades- making friends is just a pleasant bonus.

Boys shouldn't be your main priority- although that's another bonus. And don't let them get to you when they say something rude, or hurtful. Truth is, they probably DO like you and are just afraid to admit it.

Be careful about your choice in friends. Don't make the same mistake I did in 6th grade. If they making fun of you (and say they're "just joking") tell them that you don't like it. They are doing it to make themselves look better. Watch out for girls that gossip a lot- if they gossip about everyone else, chances are that they have said something about you. Speaking of gossip, don't do too much of that yourself. It always comes back to haunt you somehow. If you're gonna spill some dirt on someone- do it with someone you trust.

There's gonna be a lot of pressure to make yourself look prettier than everyone else. Remember, there's a beautiful side to everyone! So don't make fun of others and make sure to stick up for yourself. If you're going to wear makeup, make it light. You don't want to come off to strong or worse, trampy.

Never take your feelings out on your body! And encourage others not to either. You need to find a way to vent- like music, or poetry is what I do. Hopefully you have a parent that you can talk to about pretty much everything. Do not do drugs, alcohol or be pressured into anything you're not ready to do. Everyone will be changing, and you may not like it.

Popularity is so overrated. You don't need to play a sport or be a cheerleader to have friends. There's gonna be a group of kids that you connect with, and that's all you need.

There's going to be a lot of dating and rumors. Make sure to consider your source before you believe anything. Dating- tons of fun, just don't get involved with the wrong person. Follow your guts!!

Do all your work, turn stuff in on time, and do your best! Middle school is such a great experience. Hope you enjoy it. This was wayy longer than I expected it to be. :)

    Wishing you the best,

    -Kylie

P.S. Great teachers always help you get through it, too!

  26. its very interesting  it can go by fast if you try to have a good time

  30. Oh God, where to begin...?

My guy friend attacked me on our class trip.

I made out with my friend.

    I got suspended.

I went to a party at my boy friend's at smoked a cigarette with his older friends.

    I was stalked.

I dumped 2 jerks and a great guy.

    I was dumped.

    I failed a class, lol.

I skipped 3 classes, 2 to go on dates at starbucks and 1 to hang out with friends.

I figured out who I am.

I was accused of having an eating disorder.

    I'm not a model student.

    Leave me alone. :D

  31. middle shool is the hardest place to get along w/ people..everyone is so judjmental, and mean to eachother b/c they are feeling insecure, so they put bad attention on the other kids, to make themselves feel better...so i would advise you to be yourself, never tease the kids who are less fortunate, and just be the nice, happy person and that gets along with everyone, dont be scared tho..it can be a lot of fun, just remind yourself that what other people think doesnt matter, and get good grades now b/c when you get into jr high it will be a lot easier if your are listening and studying now!  =)
