  1. do homework. and nothing really counts until u get to high school. oh and be aware that 6th grade is mostly made up of drama. that's where it starts

    have fun!

  2. just b urself, thatz tha best way...b friendly, make friends...your age is around when friends really come in handy, and r helpful...n don't stress out on work...just make sure u do all of ur homework, and that way u can enjoy ur self tha rest of tha time...and study...study...study:)

    gud luk

  3. forget about what everyone else says, focus on FRIENDS for the first bit of middle school. most of the people there will be strangers, so really make sure you make a good impression. you will be stuck with these people for 3 years, so make a good impression. The first few weeks the teachers will go so easy on you, they think of you as little kids (even if they say your a "big" middle schooler now) who are scared (mostly true). Everyone always acts like if you do poorly in a class when you start middle school it's the end of the world. If you don't get good grades in the first few weeks of middle school then you can always make up for it, or at worst go to summer school (it would be pretty hard to repeat 6th grade, teachers will try hardest not to let that happen). If you are antisocial and don't talk and just study and don't make new friends, you can't change your situation easily. as much as people say don't join cliques, the truth is the easiest way to make friends is to get into a group (not neccesarily a clique, but a tight knit group) of friends. the groups form fast, and if you werent paying attention the first few weeks you could have a much harder time joining a group later. once people percieve you as an "outcast" or not having friends it can be very hard to make friends. friends make the difference between having 3 good years, or 3 of the worst years, not grades. as long as you pass grades don't matter in middle school

  4. I know you've heard this before.. but BE YOURSELF!

Join clubs to get involved and  you'll make friends in no time!

Middle school is much more strict than grade school, so stay out of trouble.

Focus on your work, and you'll get through it in no time.

Try not to get trampled over by the eighth and seventh graders (i know i did!) .

And then theres the lockers... you'll probably have trouble opening them the first few times, but by the next week, you'll open them in just in second!

Try decorating it with your favorite artists, quotes, and pictures of you and your friends. Remember to add a magnetic mirror on the side, so you can check how you look between passing periods.

At walmart, or even the dollar tree, they sell magnetic pencil holders designed for your locker, you could try that, and keep your locker organized. Dry erase boards are also available, so you can keep memos to remind you of your next exam.

No stickers, though. I had some stickers, but instead of sticking them to my locker, I bought some magnets at a craft store, and glued them to the back of the sticker, and stuck the magnetic part to the locker. I did that with print out pictures, also!

    Good Luck!

I hope you really enjoy middle school

  5. keep ur legs closed put a locket there study be urself don't try to be popular by being someone else STUDY and have fun till a limit

  6. Just be yourself and have fun.

  7. Do your homework and try to keep your tweenage drama/hormones to yourself.

  8. Don't act as if you are all that, the older kids get really pissed off. I never had 6th grade in middle only in elementary school, but when i went to 8th grade the 6th and 7th graders thought they basically were the ****. Have fun, make a lot of friends be social and do well in school, that all i can give  you.

  9. Don't worry too much. You just go to more then one class (the teachers help you find them the first day), and have lockers.

  10. hi I'm gonna be a sophomore this year & for me 6th grade was just like elementary but with more classes...It's the same so don't stress it have fun, & do your work =]
