Middle School?

Question

I'm really nervous about the first year of Middle School. All of my good friends are not going to my school so I won't know anyone, except all the kids that made fun of me last year. I am really shy so I don't know how to talk to people or make new friends. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you really want to make friends you will be able to. Just go out there and be yourself. Being shy is not bad. So you will find some good friends who will strike cord with you

I'm about to start the second year of middle school. Last year when I was entering the school, I was sooo scared and I had the same issues with what you think you're going to go through. Middle School is easier than it looks like. Its not like what you see in movies really..You might think that you're not going to make any new friends but I know you will. (: The first friend I made was some-one who was sitting right next to me. I never expected her to be my friend because she seemed to look so popular but we became friends in minutes. Theres nothing to be nervous about. Everything turns out just great.

it seems like yesterday that i was going into middle school.

[and no,im not old,lol :) ]

im going into my third year now,and it's gotten really easy to be confortable in middle school.

i was so scared my first year,but i made tons of new friends and had a great time!

in a couple years,i'm going on to high school and it seems scary,because middle school is getting so familiar.

trust me,you'll love it.

more people,more freedom..

you'll have a blast.

Somethimes even though you won't have your old friends it is good to make a new start.  Just put yourself out there out of your comfort zone and learn to talk to people.  You are getting older and more mature so if you want friends you have to be friendly and approachable too.  You are not alone.  Even the kids that will going there that will have friends there will be scared too.  Just speak to people nd people will see that you don't know anyone.  There will be someone there that will take you under their wing but you have to let them know you are trying to make friends.

I'm in 8th grade and all i have to tell you is that you have nothing to worry about, i moved to a new city right when junior high started and I had no problems, I made an amasing friend on day #2 relax, enjoy the ride and luv middle school.
