Middle School ???

Question

I am super nervous about middle school i know wait till high school !!! Can anyone help me tell me what to expect, stories,tips,how much does lunch cost!!!tell me anything you think will help!

Well on my first day of school it was not as i expected it to be.i was really nervous but i actually made some friends.So don't worry you'll make friends for sure.Then during lunch i ate alone but it was alright.After school i went straight home.

Day's passed and i made more friends and we all ate together and had fun.But depending on which school you go to that's how much lunch was.Well for me a cookie was 50 cents and a bagel was $1.00.

Just don't start talking about others. thats one HUGE thing that will cause a lot of drama. try not to give "the look" or others will try to make you miserable! the first few days you might feel tired and might want to go back to elementary. but after joining into sports, clubs, etc..  middle school will be awesome! lunch costs more now, it all depends on your family's income. but drama WILL happen. but don't let that bring you down, because the ones who are talking are always idiots. just ignore, and the meaner they get, the nicer you get. it really makes them look like an idiot!

I was the same way when I started Middle School. It will be alot like elementary school except you have a different teacher for every subject. This actually makes it a lot more fun. There are more people to talk to and become friends with. Don't feel too nervous because all the kids from your elemantary school will be there and even some new kids from other elemantary schools.

Honestly, I can't sit here and type everything about middle school because after a while you just get so used to it you'll breeze right through (i'm going into my last year of middle school)

There's this book you can buy at a bookstore or online though. It tells you EVERYTHING about middle school, my mom bought it for me when i started middle school and it was so great. Its called "A smart girl's guide to starting middle school". Its part of that American Girl series.....totally helpful :)

i kno me too im soo nervous also. My sister went to middle school already and she says that u get used to it after a while. She says there is lots of home work. Don't use a bookbag, bring a tote bag or messenger bag. Join a good amount of clubs that u are interested in. I'm joining art club, yearbook club, chorus, and SADD club. Just get involved u wil be fine. Girls are real snobs in middle school so i can't wait till high school also. Even if ur friends fail u, trust me, it gets better!!

Lunch is usually not over three dollars.

There are usually 7-8 classes a day. If you look around the school before school begins, it is easier to find your way around.

Sometimes there are lockers, sometimes you don't. If you do have a locker, make sure you don't loose the code. I did that, and I had to carry all my stuff for the week.

Teachers are fun. Especially the ones you think are mean at first (unless you're one of the troublemakers). They usually have a great personality that you don't realize at first.

Story:

I did have one teacher who was having a baby soon, so she was always groughy, but that won't happen to you.

lunch is cheap, 1-3 dollars. Its not that scary withall the lockers and 8th graders and all that. i got used to it after the 2nd day. you should expect the first three weeks to be easy then the teachers will teach you new stuff in math, science, ect. if you dont understand i bet they will take the time to make sure you ketch on. lockers might sound like a big deal but they are just storage, dont freak if you get a locker jam just try notifying a staff and they will easily open it. dont decorate your locker to much or else it will get jammed, dont put too much stuff in it and always have your phone or electronics with you at all times because thats mainly what peolep want to steal.the teachers are nice, and if you forget your class just ask someone and tad dah! dont be nervous but on the first day act yourself and try to find a group that you'll fit in the most to hang out with.

As a teacher I can tell you that everyone is as nervous as you are, put relax there is nothing to be scared of.  On the first day the teachers are going to try to scare you by telling you how hard it is and by being mean.  But it is just for show if you work hard it won't be that bad.  Everyone as a few horrible teachers but that is life, I'm sure you'll have some great ones too.

Nothing to worry about, you just have a lot of classes.

Do your work-remember, when you're bad a 1 subject, that teacher doesn't see you the rest of the day so they do make assumptions.

im going into 8th grade and i felt the same as you O no a new school what if no one  likes me!  well I promise u will make friends and middle school is way Fun it makes you feel All grown up

A good story about my middle school is

one day at lunch All the seves aka me were asked to sit at 5 tables and all the 8th graders at the others  we had a show off about dancing singing ect. like a little talent show at lunch to show at seves rock 2!

well i started going to a private middle school, and i was double the nervous! because higher grade expectations and uniforms and manners and no running, demerits, i mean 6th grade haha.  now i'm older i look back on my beginning middle school what i found was different is that there are way more rules, and the teachers are more strict, but that is no big deal.  you have passing periods now, also not big.. lockers (keep them organized!!!)  and other than that you should be fine! just stay away from the cliques at all *underlines all* costs!! good luck!!

Hahahaha ok no dont be nervous...be excited! Middle school for me was amazing. Lunch for me cost about 1.50 but yeah um start off by making friends first. The first day I was new and I made about 3 friends and so they branched off into more  friends and so I was set. Just be friendly and trust me classes are really easy.

it's not that bad lol.

it's the same as elementary school except some kids might change to fit in (by the way NEVER do that!), you buy your lunch (it's a different price in every school) and you have to move to different classes.
