Middle ages anyone?

i have a few questions...answer A.S.A.P.

1. who received land from the lords

2. who had no loyalty

3. who gave military support

4. followed code of behavior.

first one that really gives an informed answer...but not too long gets ten free points...how easy!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Land was given to peasants to work in exchange for protection (they also were required to give their lord a big share of the crops).

    Loyalty was not too common, as people acted out of fear; so they would be "loyal" to whomever was stronger or more powerful at a given time.

    Military support was mostly reserved to noble families, as a way of gaining the ruler's favor. The crusaders, for instance, were generally sons of the nobility.

    Knights, servants, royalty, etc. each had their own code of behavior.
