  1. It rather depends what century you are talking about. In the middle ages,  working class people had a lifestyle that was "nasty brutish and short". They mostly worked long hours in agriculture.Middle classes might have been merchants who had more food and owned their own houses but had little time for hobbies; they were working too hard.

Later on the working classes had hobbies like pigeon racing & dog fighting. The middle classes may have had a piano.

Read any novel by Charles Dickens for life in Victorian times.

  2. Middle - cricket, middle management (£20k - £40k) occupation, drink wine, 2 kids, 1 full time job, theatre goers

Working - football, drinking in th local pub, minimum wage/benefits (£12k - £20k), drink beer, 3+ kids, tendency to 2 part time jobs, cinema is a treat

  3. I dont know how far back 'traditionally' means . I come from a working class family adn they woudl roll back the carpet on a saturday night and have a 'knees-up" dancing and at the end  of the evening singing together - days out at margate or brighton stick of rock candyfloss and fish and chips beer and f**s.

Lifestyle would be hard-working. Hobbies traditionally ferrets -pigeons-whippets- darts.

Middle class peopel would act as a smaller family unit and save up to go to less common places and go out to be entertained - opera ballet concerts and for a fortnights holiday somewhere.

Lifestyle religious - hard working - doing good works. keeping themselves to themselves.

    Hobbies - freemasonry or suchlike.
