  1. You need to get to the red line and get off at Central Sq.

The Middle East is not a bad spot.  Downstairs gets pretty crazy.  Last summer Buckcherry played there...

  2. www.mbta.com, "Rider Tools," "Plan Your Trip"

  3. Take the greenline from North Station to Park Street station, change to the redline and go to central square.  Walk down mass ave and you'll be there in about 2 blocks.

Been there many times, it's a great place to see a show.

  4. Take the Red Line to Central Square.  It's right on Mass Ave, although there is a door on the side street (next to the big mural on the wall) that they usually make you go through to pay the cover for shows.

The Middle East is great - upstairs is really small, and primarily for local bands with a small following.  Downstairs is pretty big, although I've only been there once it's a great atmosphere and a lot of fun for shows!  Don't bother with mixed drinks there, though, as they tend to be pretty lousy and watered down.  Have fun!
