  1. In my state it cost $20.00 and you have to be 18.  Maybe you're parents will do it if you have your own money.

  2. IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT I THINK IT IS 100 AND UP . BUT I WOULD REALLY THINK ABOUT IT HARD BECAUSE IN 10 OR  15 YEARS WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR OWN KIDS WHAT WILL YOU DO IF THEY WANT TO CHANGE THERE NAMES I PUT ALOT OF THOUGHT AND LOVE INTO MY KIDS NAMES AND IT WOULD REALLY HURT ME IF THEY CHANGED THERE NAMES

  3. Without your parent or guardian's consent, you will not be able to change your name until you are an legal adult. Anyways, I like the hair in your avatar pic. Your style is cool.

  4. I don't think it is very hard to do. I don't know how much it costs. My daughter in law, and her sisters, all changed the middle name of all their children, when their father died. His last name was Santana.........so, now, all the children of these three mothers are named Santana in the middle name. They just started writing it that way, and never had a problem. I know my mother sent me to have a paper signed in front of a notory to show that I had my stepfather's name and to show my true last name. That costs very little. I know an artist, who changed his name to: T. (for the) Great Razooly. Yes, that's, now, his legal name.

  5. you have to have your legal guardian change it with you if youre under 18 and i think it costs about 100 dollars at the court house or the tax office one of those.

  6. You can't change your name legally until you are over 21.  A parent may apply for a name change but that would be more difficult than just waiting.  This is your middle name, and to change that seems very strange to me, unless there is a person whose name you are carrying that is a 'bad person' or a bad 'influence' on you.  Pick a middle name you like, and use it now, then when you turn 18 you can go to court (a county court, usually) and apply for a 'name change' ... it's actually very inexpensive, and the whole 'court procedure' takes about ten minutes, but since these are done in large groups, you may have to wait the whole morning or afternoon before your name is called.  For now, though, just 'try out' the middle name ... tell your parents what you are doing and why, and I hope they'll support you in this ... but you can not change ANY name until you are 18, and even if your parents both agree, the name change is much harder when the person whose name is being changed is under 18.

  7. I think you have to be over 18, or have the permission of your parents.  My husband had a friend who legally changed his first  name about 15 years ago in NY and the fee was around $500.

Since it's your middle name and not your first name that's bothering you, why don't you wait a few years until you're over 18.  It might not bother you as much then and if it does you'll be able to change it then.  Just use your middle initial for now.

  8. You need your mom to do it for you.

Why would you want to anyways?

  9. can you actually do that? I've heard of first name and surname change but never a middle name change. :s

  10. I think you have to have parental consent unless your over 18.

And in my opinion (not that you asked for it), I think it's very disrespectful to your parents to change any part of your name unless you're getting married.

  11. there are many states that will let you legally change your whole name at the age of 14 with out any permission from anyone, the cost  is different in each state. Call your city hall in your town and inquire there.
