  1. Just relax....  It may take a little time to adjust, but it isn't bad at all.  6th grade is when you will start learning fractions and equations in math. You also get to go to 6th grade science camp, offered in MOST schools and that is a fun couple of days.  Science is alot funner cause there are better experiments and things for you to learn. Computer lab was a blast. The thing is.... you will still know alot of people cause all your friends will be making the transistion with you so you won't have to feel insecure with your surroundings...  Go to the dances with your friends, you can now since you are older... Live life to the fullest and take it one day at a time. You might even want to consider going for one of the sports or get onto the yearbook staff....  In high school, take spanish and the foods class... You can make food and EAT it.  Hope you have a wonderful 6th grade experience... Enjoy your life!!!!

  2. just relax and be yourself stick close to your friends when you get there make a pack with your friends that you guys/girls will help each other out.

  3. Hate to be cliche, but be yourself.  People can spot someone who's faking it to fit in a mile away, you'll have more REAL friends and people who respect you if you are true to who you are.

  4. First, go to school with your head held moderately high and take things as they go.  When you get your schedule, make a run around the school so you can find all the rooms you need to go through.  Once school starts, you already know where to go, and making friends in PE will be simple.  Good luck

  7. Relax and do not worry. I am 18 and about to go to college! 6th grade is one of the best grades and I will never forget it. Make sure to be yourself and talk to as many people as possible to make the best of it. Here are some tips I bet you will find useful:

    1) Take work seriously and make sure to organize a work schedule!

    2) Classes can be more serious now as you will have more in-depth books.

    3) Remember to ask for help from the teacher and now is the time to ask questions (trust me)! From now until college is the chance to get a good foundation of the subjects

    4) Do not be scared the first day because look how far you made it already.

    5) The only thing stopping you from reaching your goals is you!

    6) Give it your best and don't forget to ask your parents if you need help!

Best of luck this academic school year and be safe.
