Middle school help??

Question

Me and my very best friend just got our schedules. For middle school of course. And we don't have any classes, don't have the same lunch, and don't have the same locker hall. I'm not sure about the locker or the lunch but I'm pretty sure. Will we still be friends? We've been friends since 2nd grade so im pretty sure. I feel replaced all ready because we just hung out for the first time this whole summer today. Thank you all for your help :)

You can't just stop being friends for no reason, but my best friend made new friends in our first year of middle school, mixed in with people that I don't get along well with, and that changed her opinion of me. You just have to put effort into it. If you already feel left out, why don't you make plans more often with her? And if you want to stay close friends with her, go out of your way to say hi to her around school, even if you don't have anything together. Middle school's pretty rough, but you'll be fine. of course you'll still be friends! when i was in 5th grade i transferred schools and didn't see my best friend for a year until middle school. when we saw each other again, it was like we never we're apart! we're still besties to this day. good luck in middle school!

If you're worried, then arrange to go to school together, or you can arrange a certain meeting place, where you can meet before and after school ends and spend some time together. You can spend time together during breaks, too. If you don't see her a lot in school, just make sure you see her a lot out of school.

i can relate to this in many ways...

i have a friend i knew since we were babies (haha) and we didnt have elementary school together and we dont have middle school together. im in 7th grade and have only seen her once this summer we still talk and remain best friends. Maybe you will see her in the halls i have another friend thats in a different hall/house and i stop by her locker after band! goodluck:]
