Middle school records?

Do i need my middle school records? they weren't given to my high school and i already took the classes i took in 8th (like keyboarding) again in high school (currently a junior). I think they didnt give them to me because i had to pay for a class book(the 60$ ones)

and how long will the middle school keep my records?

Not sure where you are, but in South Carolina, all school records are required to be kept for 75 years.
