Middles school dances! Help!!!!?

ok well I just went into the 6th grade and tonight is my first dance tell me everything I need to know about boys wears accessories and everything else! pleaz help and no i dont hav a boyfriend yet but would like to get one pleaz help! and fast!

Just don't be shy- when I was in middle school there was a divide down the dance floor with single boys on one side, single girls on the other, and dating couples dancing in the middle (very few of them). I stood on the single girls side for a few of these events, then realized I wasn't having any fun and said s***w it. I started asking the boys to dance, and it was a lot of fun. I warmed up with a few guy friends, and a few I didn't know too well, to get the nerves out before I asked my crush to dance. Nothing relationship wise came out of it for me but I still had a lot more fun than the people sitting on the sidelines. Good luck!

Well I remember the first dance I went to. There's a few things I would of liked to have changed hahah so maybe I can tell you and you wont make the same mistakes as me.

First of all, don't wear a skirt or dress. Just wear jeans and a tee shirt, or maybe a tank top. I wouldn't really suggest a sweater or hoodie because it gets hot and then you have no where to put it!

Definitely go with your friends. Stay with them but if you think someone's gonna ask you to dance then distance yourself because no guy is going to ask you in front of all of your friends.

As for guys, don't ignore them but don't obsess over them either. Go to have fun!

Dance to all of the songs and have a blast!! :)

Don't sweat over it. The first few dances are awkward. Even the middle school graduation dance this year took about an hour for everybody to get comfortable Lol. So at first, expect it to be a little weird. You and your friends should just start a little group of dancing and in no time people will join in. Everybody wants to dance but nobody wants to break the ice so go for it! Hmm you should wear a cute summer dress or the new cute thing is wearing cool funky dresses over leggings. SO if you have a long black top or dress then u can go for a printed legging but if your dress is funky then stick with black or gray leggings. Cute earings, a necklace, or a ring will complete it. And most of all....HAVE FUN!! =]

yeah what everyone said up there.

you should wear jeans and a tshirt with flip flops or a comfy shoe, i usually ended up taking mine off. wear earring if your ears are pierced but wear studs not dangling ones cause they could easily fall out.

I was going through the same thing my first dance! Well, bring a couple of ur girlfriends just in case something gets awkward with ur BF, or date. Then say something like oh hang on I got a text from my friend sorry! 1 Boys can be totally weird and gross! If he does something ur uncomfortable with u could tell him or just walk away and say u need to pee or u need to get a drink. Wear a cute little dress or skirt don't b too formal! accessories could be a nice necklace or some rad earrings! have an awesome time and dont be shy! totaly b urself l8r!

First of all, calm down and remember to be yourself.

Clothes: Wear something cute and light like a miniskirt, leggings, and a tank top, or a cute dress over jeans. Be casual and comfortable but take it up a notch: sparkly earrings, cute flats... I wouldn’t bring a purse if I were u because u tend to lose these things.

Boys and dancing: When you’re dancing, just remember to be yourself but don’t act too S****y. You can grind, or freak dance, if you want but you don’t have to. During the slow songs or a snowball, go ahead, work up ur courage, and ask a boy to dance. it would be a lot more fun then just sitting and watching your friends. Hang out with a group of people at the dance that you feel comfortable with and try new dance moves; show off a little! HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK!!!
