Middlesex v Surrey - County Championship Division One – Day 3 - Match Update
Middlesex 256 & 106 v Surrey 222 & 95/4 (27.2 ov) - Surrey require another 46 runs with 6 wickets remaining
In another clash of the County Championship Division One, Surrey at stumps on Saturday require 46 more runs to win the four-day match against Middlesex, with six wickets in hand, at Lord's, London.
On April 14, Surrey resumed their first innings with RJ Hamilton-Brown (8) and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Christopher-James-Jordan-c50838 Jordan (1), after having ended the second day by posting 161 runs for the loss of five wickets in response to the first innings total of 256 runs by Middlesex.
However, this was not Jordan’s day as he took a walk back to the pavilion after getting dismissed on a tally of eight off 39 deliveries, leaving his side standing on 184 runs.
With just 189 runs on the board, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gareth-Batty-c1456 became the seventh wicket to fall from his side as he could contribute only four runs before his demise.
The departure of Batty, brought Jon Lewis on the crease and the batsman provided potent support to Hamilton-Brown, as both batsmen steered the side to tally of 211 before the demise of Hamilton-Brown after playing an innings of 35 runs.
With the top-order back in the pavilion, Lewis later lost his wicket after scoring 21 runs, as the side ended their first innings on 222 runs.
Middlesex then tried to start their second innings but were bogged down by the fielding side early on, as they kept losing wickets which placed more pressure on the team to bat enough runs on the board to subdue the raging outfit from Surrey.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Middlesex-c817’s batting line-up by dismissing five batsmen in his 15.5 overs.

The fielding side easily wrecked h**l on the batsmen, reducing them on a second innings total of 106 runs.
Needing 141 runs to win, Surrey lost four wickets and amassed 95 runs at stumps on the penultimate day with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Robert-Hartman-Joseph-c85857 Hamilton-Brown unbeaten on 51 and TL Maynard on 12.
