Japanese international and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa has claimed that he is looking forward to prove himself in Europe’s elite club competition and is looking forward to face some of the best teams including Barcelona.

a metatarsal injury in the AFC Asian Cup semi-final against South Korea.
The midfielder has now set his sights on the next season and hopes to remain fit for the next campaign. He also insisted that it is a huge opportunity for him to make his mark in the UEFA Champions League and prove his worth against
the top teams.
The Japanese international is eager to perform at the highest level and is confident of a very good season ahead. He stated that Borussia Dortmund have the quality in their side to challenge for the title again and go far in the
Champions League.
The former Cerezo Osaka player claimed that he still has a point to prove to the club supporters and added that he still wants to improve on his displays. He revealed that he is committed to the club and wants to stay at the Signal-Iduna
Park for many more years.

Shinji Kagawa scored 12 goals in his 28 appearances for Die Borussen in his first season at the club. He scored eight times in the Bundesliga and four times in the UEFA Europa League. The 22-year old also has 22 international caps
to his name, scoring five times in the process.
