Bayern Munich bound midfielder Takashi Usami has thanked Japanese team coach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-c4309 Zaccheroni and former club Gamba Osaka teammates for all the support in the past few years. He stated that the manager helped him in improving
his game and has surely made him a better player.
The youngster joined German giants Bayern Munich in a loan-deal until the end of next season with the club having the option of signing the Japanese when the campaign ends. The player’s influential performances last term attracted
interest from many club especially from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. Schalke and Die Bayern were left to compete but the latter won the race to acquire the player.
Usami claimed that Zaccheroni, who guided the national team to the AFC Asian Cup this year, has been inspirational and that he has learned a lot during his training sessions with the national side. The midfielder added that he
has worked on his weak points as pointed out by the coach and hopes to prove himself in the Bundesliga now.
“He really took good care of me. He gave me very detailed comments about my weak and strong points. It was very good,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Japanese Under-22 international insisted that he had started playing for the Gamba Osaka first team a lot earlier than expected at the age of 17 and hailed his teammates at that time who helped him through his maiden season.
He admitted that he had learnt a lot and gained some worthy experience playing under them.
“In the beginning I thought the level could have been too high for me. But I got used to it. I really need to thank some of my team-mates, such as Ban (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vitesse-c40905
Arnhem) and many others. I learnt a lot from them. In my second year as a professional, I felt I was okay,” the player concluded.
Takashi Usami made 41 league appearances for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gamba-Osaka-c39399 and scored 10 goals in the process.
