Midnight Music expected to shine in Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes (Listed Race)
Midnight Music is likely to succeed in the Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes (Listed Race) at Galway in Ireland on Monday, September 10, 2012. She is a decent runner and has been delivering good results with consistency since making her debut. A few spots on
the track have been affected by rain, which might test her abilities. However, she is fully capable of coping up with such conditions.
Only six runners have been attracted towards the 1 mile 4 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 18:05 GMT. The spectators will definitely be looking forward to witness this €32,500 event.
Although, none of the participants seem to be in a position to dominate the proceedings, yet a couple of them have got better chances than others. One of them is Chamonix, who is young and inexperienced, but has got a lot of energy. He has participated in
just a couple of races in his career and was success in the most recent one.
The three-year-old colt has been given a general starting price of 15 to 8, which means that the bookmakers expect a special effort from him. However, he will be a touch nervous going into the race and might not manage to finish on top of the table in the
end.
On the other hand, Midnight Music will not be under pressure at all, as she has been in the sport for more than a couple of years now. She will enter the event with a starting price of 3 to 1 and the punters should risk maximum number of bets in her favour.
The D. K. Weld’s trainee debuted in August 2010 and was pretty quick in her very first outing, finishing third in it. She followed that up with a victory, ending the season on a high and continued to deliver positive results throughout next year as well.
The four-year-old filly has been doing a very good job during the ongoing season. She took part in one race at Galway and was victorious in it. This was her only success in 2012 and she will be looking to repeat such a show once again. Her partner will be
experienced jockey, Pat Smullen, who has accompanied her mostly throughout her career.
