she might or she might not. i think she said it all depends on her mood, but she wont finish it now because shes too upset to. :[

she may not be publishing it because she's upset that the first twelve unedited chapters got illegally posted on the internet.

There was a leak of the first 12 chapters. She was really upset about it, and she's now not going to continue writing it right now. Eventually, she probably will publish it, but as she states, if she continues writing it now 'James will probably win and the Cullens will die' which, obviously doesn't go too well with the rest of the books.

Well not right now she isn't. It's on hold, so there's a chance she'll pick it up somewhere in the I hope not too distant future.

ok so twelve chapters got leaked onto the internet without s.m permission. And now shes really upset because she didnt want anyone to read it. So she is putting it on hold indefinatly.

well what happened is SM decided to take her anger out on her fans for her own mistakes. so by her giving her precious work to people who APPARENTLY werent very trustworthy and leaked it all over the internet she decided to punish her fans by giving the unfinished 12 chapters up on her site for free and indefinitly stop writing midnight sun. thats an A+ move to show her appreciation to her fans and let whoever did it off that hook. So how lucky we are to be able to read an UNFINISHED book that we most likely never know the ending to...Thanks SM!
