Midnight wine finish on a fender guitar?

This "midnight wine" color finish looks different in every picture i see of it... sometimes red, sometimes navy blue, sometimes dark purple... does anyone a fender in this finish? what does it look like in person?

It's a warm cabernet color with black sides.  Sort of like a burst with a little lighter at the pick guard getting darker toward the sides until it gets to the edges and turns black.

It's more of a purple maroon look to me. With a sparkly thing to it. I played one before.

Beautiful. Almost like a cherry burst, but deeper.
