Midway Rouble, a threat to Brave The Times in Bookmakers Midi at Henlow
It is an easy decision for the bookies to declare Brave The Times favourite for the Bookmakers Midi, being held at Henlow on Thursday, May 24th. The black dog has plenty of experience of Open races and should not
let his supporters down today.
Although victories are not coming to his way regularly, the bookmakers cannot afford to ignore his chances for the top rank. He has the ability to do well in various conditions, thus Henlow’s ground will not cause any problem
for him.
In his last appearance at this venue, C. Mosdall’s trainee missed the gold medal only by ¾ a length. Head Bound’s son is coming into this race after doing a decent job at Wimbledon.
In a 480 metres contest, he managed to grab the third place despite getting crowded at the second bend. Despite the fact that he is more than capable of stealing the show, his chances of bagging the winning prize are not absolute
today.
Among his rivals are: Midway Rouble, Fridays Reason, Bodell Letitbe, Yer A Diamond and Darcy Dasher. The 550 metres sprint will be begun at 21:45 GMT.
Midway Rouble is the biggest threat to the favourite hound. The white and black dog has been performing consistently over the past few weeks. After a few wonderful performances, he came to this class and continued his good work.
In his most recent outing, H. Chalkley’s trainee missed the crown by a neck’s distance. Top Savings’ son is expected to build on his recent strike and trouble Brave The Times.
Out of others, Bodell Letitbe is in good form, holding two consecutive wins under her belt. After winning a Grade A6 event, the blue b***h ran in an open race last week. She did well to beat Airforce Angel by four lengths.
Yer A Diamond has been unlucky over the past few weeks. Similarly, Fridays Reason and Darcy Dasher are not in good form these days.
Midway Rouble seems to be the only one to spoil Brave The Times’ party. It will be a comfortable triumph for the favourite hound, if he manages to outpace his major rival. Good luck to everyone.
