Midwife appointment?

Question

just been and see my midwife and when she was checking everything over i measured 33 cm and i'm only 31 plus 4 days pregnant and she also said the babies head was truly lodged into my pelvis and was 4 fifths engaged can any one enlighten me on what this means exactly i was a bit rushed to stay and ask thanks very much.

P.s you would think i would know something about this with it being my third pregnancy and all ha ha x

33 cms is absolutely fine for 31 weeks, I always measured a bit bigger then my weeks.

The babies head being 4 5ths engaged is good, it needs to be fully engaged for labour to start 5 5ths, its just the baby/your bady getting ready for birth. You may feel a lot of pressure with the head being so low down though.

Make the most of these last weeks, baby will be here before you know it
